RMT Shorts Upload Privacy Policy

This policy applies to RMT Shorts Upload, an internal utility operated by The Ryan Mortgage Team at Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation. The utility is not offered to the public and is used only by authorized staff to manage team-owned video content on the official team YouTube channel.

The utility uses Google OAuth 2.0 and YouTube API Services. With an authorized user's consent, it may access the authorized channel identity, upload team-owned videos, read the resulting video ID and processing status, update approved video metadata or scheduling settings, and apply approved thumbnails.

The utility does not request access to contacts, Gmail, Google Drive, payment information, or unrelated Google Account data.

YouTube API data is used only to perform the upload or channel-management action approved by an authorized team member, verify the result, prevent duplicate work, and maintain a limited operational audit record. The utility does not use YouTube API data for advertising, profiling, credit decisions, lead generation, or sale.

OAuth credentials and refresh tokens are stored in the team's approved encrypted secret store and are not committed to source control or saved in public files. Operational records are limited to items such as the authorized channel, video ID, approved privacy state, timestamp, endpoint, and success or failure status.

Local source videos, rendered clips, and approval records remain in controlled team systems. Access is limited to authorized personnel who need it for the stated purpose.

RMT Shorts Upload does not sell, rent, license, or share Google or YouTube user data with advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties. Data may be disclosed only when required by law or to service providers acting under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations for the stated internal purpose.

Authorization tokens are retained only while needed for the approved internal use. If access is revoked, the related OAuth credentials are deleted or disabled promptly. YouTube API data and operational records are deleted when no longer needed for the stated purpose, subject to legal, security, and audit obligations.

An authorized user can revoke the utility's access at any time from Google Account third-party connection settings. Revocation stops future API access. Authorized users may also request deletion of stored Google or YouTube API data by contacting us using the information below.

The utility requires an authorized reviewer to approve each video and explicitly confirm the title, description, thumbnail, privacy status, and publish time. It does not change a video's privacy status or publish content without express approval.

The API client is not directed to children. Staff must not upload borrower nonpublic personal information or other confidential information. Team review procedures require clips to be checked for private or regulated information before approval.

We may update this policy as the utility or applicable requirements change. Material changes to the stated YouTube API use case will be reviewed before continued use and, when required, submitted to YouTube for approval.
